New York City Opera mezzo-soprano Hyona Kim sang the Judgment Scene from Verdi’s Aida in preparation for her first Amneris at Germany’s Opera Dortmund, along with Puccini’s tragically beautiful “Flower Duet” from Madama Butterfly with series founder and curator, soprano Allison Charney, accompanied by collaborative pianist, Craig Ketter.

Royal Stockholm Philharmonic cellist Kajsa William-Olsson played Martinu’s Cello Concerto, No. 1 in preparation for her performance with full orchestra later this season.

Orchestra of St. Luke’s prinicpal flutist Elizabeth Mann played Prokofiev’s Flute Sonata with pianist Donna Weng Friedman in advance of their upcoming concert at Princeton.

The ARK trio performed Michael Ching’s reimaginings of five of Schubert’s classic songs in his new song cycle “Arrangements and Derangements: Interpretations of Schubert.”
