From the Bible to Bernstein

In these unusually discordant times, I think of Leonard Bernstein’s edict to “make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before.”  I’m especially proud, then, to be able to offer a dose of much needed “goodness and pleasantness” on the opening concert of our season at Merkin Concert Hall by featuring Moshe Knoll’s inspiring setting of Psalm 133.
